Bio

Economist, France.

Mary Di Santolo is a PhD candidate in Development Economics at the Université Paris-Dauphine/PSL Research University (Université Paris-Dauphine, IRD, CNRS) and member of the development economics team DIAL (Paris, France). She was graduated (in 2019) from a master’s degree in International Affairs and Development Economics, specialized in International Economics and Development at Université Paris-Dauphine. Her main research interests are in development economics, labour markets, gender, inequalities and public policy evaluation. She is currently working on affirmative action policies in India and labour market opportunities, including gender and caste issues under the supervision of her PhD advisor CJ Nordman. She has joined the NEEMSIS research team during her first research visiting (in February 2020) at the French Institute of Pondicherry.
