Economist, France.
Arnaud Natal is an independent researcher in economics affiliated with the Economics department of the University of Bordeaux in France and the French Institute of Pondicherry in India. He obtained his PhD in economics from the University of Bordeaux in December 2023. His main field of interest is development economics, and he works on topics related to household indebtedness, labour, and cognition in India. Arnaud was an international volunteer at the French Institute of Pondicherry between September 2022 and August 2023. He takes part in the activities of the Observatory of Rural Dynamics and Inequalities in South India (ODRIIS), in particular by actively participating in all stages of the collection of longitudinal NEEMSIS household data.
