We are pleased to share an article published in Ideas for India (I4I) by Arnaud Natal and Christophe Jalil Nordman.
๐ Their findings challenge a widely held assumption: that traits like the “Big Five” are stable and universal. Using original data from Tamil Nadu, they show that personality traits can shift significantly in response to economic and social disruptions, with striking differences across caste and gender.
